HausCraft

Questions

Who is it for?
Homeowners, hobbyists, woodworkers and craftsmen. If you can read a tape measure, you can put a house, a room or a weekend project into 3D with it.
Is it a 3D modeling program?
No. It is focused on houses and what is in and around them, which makes it far easier to use than one. You work in walls, doors, cabinets and fences, and we take care of the 3D.
Do I need to know CAD?
No. Pick a builder, give it a few sizes and it does the working out. Points catch on corners and lines as you go, and a guide on the ground shows you what caught.
How does it know how my house is built?
You tell it whether a wall is block or studs, the roof rafters or trusses, the finish plaster or drywall. It fills in from that, and the sizes it builds with are yours to change.
Is that what is really inside my walls?
It is what a house built that way has, laid out by the usual rules. We have not seen inside yours, so check before you cut or drill.
How do the photos work?
Point the view at what you want to see and ask for a photo of it. The view comes back as a photograph from the same spot in the same light, and a few words sent with it change what the photo shows.
Can I pull a permit with it?
No. It does not follow current code, and it does not replace an engineer or your building department.
Can someone work on it with me?
Yes. Share a property and you both edit it live, so a change on one screen shows on the other at once. Or make it public, and anyone signed in can look at it from its link.
What does it cost?
The calculators are free for anyone to use. An account is free too, and starts with credits for the AI features, photos among them. A paid account adds exports, downloads, more models and more properties. [YOUR PRICING].

Type it in and we use public maps and records to draft your property in 3D, its lot and the walls of your house, to get you started. Check it over and build on from there.
